Vesta Lorine (Whittle) Hill

Vesta Lorine Hill, of Ooltewah went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, May 24, 2020 at the age of 103.

Mrs. Hill was a lifelong resident of the Apison and Ooltewah community and was a longtime member of Community Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Hill;  her son, Leonard Hill;  four sisters and two brothers.

She is survived by her daughters, Melba Stafford, Ooltewah;  Myrtle Cross, Chattanooga, and Thelma Hullender, Ringgold;   eleven-grandchildren;  fifteen-great-grandchildren; many great-great-grandchildren;  nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 29th at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Fletcher Farris and Rev. Perry McAllister officiating.

Burial will follow at Plowman Cemetery with grandsons Donnie Stafford, Phil Cross, Wayne Cross, Tony Hullender, Jeff Hullender, Justin Hullender, and Lance Stewart serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, East Brainerd Road.    Visitation will follow CDC Guidelines with social distancing and face covering required.
