Terry (Hero) (Mutsu) Williford, 76, of East Brainerd passed away Sunday, September 25, 2022 in a local hospital.
A lifelong resident of Chattanooga, Terry retired from Dupont after 38 years of service.
He was past president and board member of the Harrison Ruritan Club and a member of the VFW.
Terry was a member of Morris Hill Baptist Church and was a veteran of the US Navy.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ann Williford.
Survivors are his wife, Marilyn Williford; son, Marcus (Sara) Williford, Hixson; three grandchildren, Peyton, Parker, and Lucy Ann Williford; sister, Marilyn Reppond, Chattanooga; five brothers, Ernie (Betty) Sanders, Tullahoma, TN, Ronald (Theresa) Hopkins, TX, Larry Hopkins, TX, Keith Harden, and David Lankford, both of Chattanooga; uncle, William Williford, Dunlap, TN; many nieces, nephews, cousin, and special sisters in law.
Services will be held Friday, September 30th at 12 noon in the funeral home chapel with Rev. James Click and Rev. Bill Mason officiating. Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
