Sarah Edith Tillison, 95, of East Brainerd went to be with the Lord, Friday, June 26, 2020. A resident of Chattanooga for the past 65 years, Mrs. Tillison was a longtime member of Brainerd Hills Baptist Church. She retired from Hess’s Dep. Store after 30 years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Tillison; and son-in-law, Jim Lewis.
Survivors are her daughters, Vickie (George) Eaves, Chattanooga and Peggy Lewis, Knoxville; son, Dennis (Carol) Tillison, Rossville; grandchildren, Scot (Julie) Eaves, Staci (DeWayne) Lane, Jamie (Celeste) Lewis, Heather Eaves, David (Karen) Lewis, April (Josh) Thrasher, Jason (Mindy) Tillison, and Michael (Taylor) Tillison; great-grandchildren, Cameron and Spencer Eaves, Abby Benson, Anna, Wesley, Andrew, Braxton, Britton and Baylor Lewis, Dominick Warner, A.J. and Carson Walker, Jaxon, Fletcher, and Mathis Tillison, Bailey & Megan Thrasher, and Sage Baliles; sister-in-laws, Jewel Slater, Sarah Clark, Janie Hartsook, and Shirley (Ronald) Miller; brother-in-law, Buddy (Nancy) Tillison; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Monday, June 29, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Richard Mason officiating. Burial will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens, East with Scot Eaves, Jamie Lewis, David Lewis, Jason Tillison, Michael Tillison, and Cameron Eaves serving as pallbearers.
