Harvey Standridge "Stan" Elrod

Harvey Standridge “Stan” Elrod, 63, of East Ridge. TN passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2022.

He was born in Chattanooga, TN on August 4, 1959. He graduated from Notre Dame High School and attended the University of Alabama where he was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bruce Allison Elrod and Virginia Standridge Elrod.

Stan will be remembered as a person who never met a stranger and had a tremendous outgoing personality. He also had a special love for animals, particularly his dog Henry. He was an avid fan of the University of Alabama football.

He is survived by his longtime partner, Wendy Bunn; sons, Perry Elrod and Michael Elrod and their mother, Lucinda Elrod; brother, Gary Elrod (Lori); sister, Francie Elrod; niece, Fran Norman (Nathan); and great niece, Everly Norman.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, December 9, 2022 at 11AM at First-Centenary

United Methodist Church, 419 McCallie Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37402. The family will receive friends from 10-11AM prior to the service at the church.

Burial will be private.
