Elvie Blair

Elvie Blair, 95, of East Brainerd went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 3, 2020.

A lifelong resident of Hamilton County, Mrs. Blair was a member of Calvary Memorial Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Blair;  three sons; two brothers, and three sisters.

She is survived by her son, Doug (Marsha) McClendon, Chattanooga;  step-daughter, Debbie (Wes) Stephenson, Apison; step-son, Sonny Blizzard;  sister, Estella Smith, Gordonsville, TN;  five grandchildren, Eric (Channan) McClendon, Jason (Shay) McClendon, Josh (Stephanie) Stephenson, Kasey Stephenson, and Lauren (Harsh) Desai;  several great-grandchildren;  two-great-great-grandsons.

A family service will be held Monday, April 6th at 12 Noon in the funeral home chapel with Wes Stephenson officiating.  Burial following at Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
