Deborah Lynn Theus

Ms. Deborah Lynn Twombley Theus age 59, of East Ridge, TN, formerly of Calhoun, GA, passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2022.

Ms. Theus was born in Fuquay-Virginia, NC, on October 27, 1962, the daughter of Barbara Davidson Twombley and the late Francis Don Twombley. Deborah will be remembered for her kindness, wit, resilience, and generosity. She enjoyed reading, traveling, and spending time with her family. Deborah loved working with young people through her role as Treasurer at Georgia Cumberland Academy. She was a lifelong follower of Christ.

In addition to her mother survivors include, three daughters, Rebecca Theus, Molly Theus, and Sarah Theus Mancao and son-in-law, David Mancao; a grandson, Bodhi Mancao; a brother, David Twombley; and a sister, Frances Kain.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 24th, 2022, at 4:00 P.M., Georgia Cumberland Academy Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Calhoun, GA with Dr. Greg Gerard officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made to The Deborah Theus Memorial Scholarship Fund at Georgia Cumberland Academy.
