David (Rusty) F. Munger, Jr.

David F. (Rusty) Munger, Jr., 55, of Chattanooga passed away October 6, 2021 at his residence.

Born June 5, 1966, Rusty was 1984 graduate of Bradley Central High School in Cleveland, TN and a graduate of Bryan College, Dayton, TN with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management.

He was of the Baptist faith and was an accomplished pianist.

Rusty was employed with Walgreen’s Pharmacy in East Ridge as a certified pharmacy technician.

He was preceded in death by his father, David F. Munger, Sr.; step-father, Michael Weinmann; brother, Robby Munger; aunt, Linda Sherlin; and uncle, Ronnie Powell.

He is survived by his mother, Judy Powell Munger Weinmann; nephew, Dillon Munger; niece, Devan Munger; two aunts, Barbara Powell, and Data (Gene) Vess; great-uncle, Lowry Powell; great aunt, Bobbie Baker; two step-brothers, Jamie & Matt Weinmann; three step-sisters, Sharon (David) Swope, Karen (Mike) Sumida, and Sonya Neely Butler; special niece, Sophia Lane; special friend, JC Smith; beloved pets, Sam & Missy; and many cousins.

Services will be held Sunday, October 10, at 1 pm in the chapel with JC Smith officiating.    There will be a private family burial.
